Breaking Down the Super Team Formula

Breaking Down the Super Team FormulaI like to teach business math that is practical and makes sense. If you are trying to build a Super Team at your company, use this formula to transform ordinary performance into extraordinary results:

SUPER TEAM FORMULA
ST = (E1*E2)*(TCCC)/BSF

SUPER TEAM FACTORS
• ST – Super Team. Building a super team makes running a business easier, more fun and more profitable.
• E1 – Employee engagement. According to multiple research studies performed in the last year, over 70% of employees are disengaged at work. What are you doing to inverse this statistic?
• E2 – Employee effectiveness. What are you doing to help employees become better at their jobs?
• TCCC – Team chemistry, commitment and connection. How intentional are you at building vibrant company culture? What are you doing to improve chemistry, commitment and connection between and amongst employees?
• BSF – BS factor. What are you doing to eliminate bull%^*$ from your company?

APPLYING THE SUPER TEAM FORMULA
To score high and build a super team at work, increase E1, E2 and TCCC. Reduce the BS factor.

SUPER TEAM SCORE
Last week, 58 highly engaged (E1) blog subscribers were highly effective (E2) in providing encouraging words of advice, wisdom and perspective to my twin boys, Alex and Carl, regarding how to go about selecting a college or university to attend next fall, and more importantly offering words of wisdom when it comes to embarking on their life’s journey. This online team, (TCCC) collectively rallied on their behalf and not only committed, but connected in a way that brought me deep personal gratitude. The BS factor (BSF) was non-existent! Needless to say, the Super Team score amongst my blog subscribers is very high! What is the Super Team score at your company? What will you do to improve it?

WHAT’S NEXT
Look for a blog post after Christmas Day, where I will share the words offered by 28 business leaders who have given me permission to share their advice for Alex and Carl. I am also thinking about a way to thank each of you for helping my boys make an important decision in their lives! Merry Christmas…

    Congratulations. It is brilliant to be able to simplify reality to the level of a simple formula that can check in any particular situation… even while these situations are cooked up with ill will.
